What is TED?
TED is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to discovering, debating and spreading ideas that spark conversation, deepen understanding and drive meaningful change. The organization is devoted to curiosity, reason, wonder and the pursuit of knowledge — without an agenda. TED welcomes people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world and connection with others, and we invite everyone to engage with ideas and activate them in every community.
TEDx is a program of independently organized, local events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, live speakers and curated TED Talks videos combine to encourage meaningful discussion and connection.
This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED.
About TEDx StPetersIntlSchool Youth
TEDxStPetersIntlSchoolYouth is the first officially licensed TEDxYouth event hosted at St. Peter’s International School. The event is founded and organized by IB students Lillian Murta, Ruyi Ye, and Sophie Brookes. Our event brings the TEDx spirit of ideas worth spreading to the school community through student leadership, creativity, and collaboration. Taking place in February 2026, the event invites audiences to explore how culture, identity, and lived experience shape the connections between individuals and the communities they are part of.
